Is
this really that month again?
For me, this seems to come more often than once
per year.
Do not misunderstand my point, I am not
complaining.
I merely am trying to say that perhaps oversaturation of this
awareness has permeated the culture to the point that it doesn't stick out any
longer in the minds of those both willing and unwilling to admit it.
Nor
do I suggest that we stop talking about it.
My suggestion is that we refresh the
awareness by a stark contrast in approach to bring it back to the forefront of
the minds of those that will and do care.
I do
not have an example to offer, but I do have a suggestion. Those who work retail
are familiar with what is called POP and POS. Point Of Purchase and Point Of
Sale items. They are refreshed frequently enough to draw fresh attention to the
product(s) being sold.
This does not necessarily mean a new product is being
offered.
I am curious to hear your thoughts.
